Still have around thirty fry. I did address the filter issue with some netting. They seem to be avoiding it alright.

My wigglers are now about five days old. They are starting to swim! Not for very long because they still have their sacs but it is so fun to watch them jump up and try to swim around. A few more days and I will have little free swimmers!

I would say definitely! Watch for her body to get square like this \___/ . That is how you know if she is getting ready to drop her babies!

Wow thank you. I wasn't even aware that I had a breeding pair until I saw the eggs! The proud parents seem to be doing well. They don't seem too interested in eating the eggs anyway. I hope they feel the same when they hatch!

I have two pregnant platys and I thought they were close to delivery about a week ago but no luck. The first one ( first two pictures) has a dark gravid spot and I can see the frys eyes. Here is a better picture.(top left) I can see her gravid spot but she doesn't appear to have a large bulgy abdomen. Is it possible she is just carrying a small amount of fry?
