The yasha is my first fish. Had to pull out my emerald crab because it was harassing the goby. Didn't see them tis morning maybe they will be out when I get home from class.
Pulled my filter and saw them under the grating. Got them back into the display and went to desperate hiding places. Really hope I didn't traumatize them to much to find each other again.
Alright thank you. I am just worried that I somehow missed them when I looked in the filter area before blocking the bottom vent off. So how long should I wait before I try to feed?
I my yasha goby and pistol that I just added to my tank have disappeared. I know that it can happen and they will come out on their own but I am wondering and hoping if they managed to find their way into my sump through the lower grating. I should tell you that I have a Biocube 8. Should I wait...
So I am narrowing down my list for my nano reef and I am thinking of going with a yasha and banded pistol combo and either a purple firefish pair or maybe a yellowhead jawfish. Thoughts? Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
I am dropping in a few(5-7) small sinking pellets each morning. I see the Nassarius go for them immediately and even the emerald crab went for one today. Is that enough or should I be feeding them more?
The tank is only two weeks old so I am guessing my cuc is sufficient since there isn't heavy algae growth yet. Also I don't want to over load them and have them starve and die and need to start over.
Just added an emerald crab, 2 hermits, an Astraea, and a Nassarius. I was wondering how long I should let them go at it before I add any corals and also if they are sufficient for this size on a tank.
