Thanks guys there's defo no signs of the pitta patter of tiny fins, so I'm off the hook, I'm gonna just leave them now, out of my 32 fry only 20 reached maturity they hopefully will be re homed soon
Yes your probably right because there's about 7 really big healthy looking females and the ones with the speared tales are slightly smaller, I've took them to the aquarium shop to be re homed I'm not breeding anymore, I've done once that's enough for me
There actually very cheap to buy online and I use mine all the time, so I never forget to turn the lights on at the right time, I also have an automatic feeder it just makes life easier when you 4 children 2 dogs a tortoise and two tanks lol
Thanks for your advice, the filter I've got is just a small filter with two sponges in and no carbon, it's a AR 380 aquarium the filters a tetra 300 plus, so how would I do it
This is the filter I have
I've got 5 here I don't use, do you live in England I'll post you one, my tank is on a timer and there great, you could carry on with it even when you get home and then your fish have a precise time of the lights on and off, let me know, if shipping fees are not to expensive I'll send you one/two

No they've just had white spot! And my tank heater says that it goes up to 31c, but it only heated the tank to 29c (thats what my glass thermometer said) so I insulated the tank and it went to 31c only doing it for 7 days, then slowly reducing it back to 24c
Thanks the only thing that worries me is my plants I have a lot of different species I added salt regardless when they had white spot, and two of my plants are dying, I cut all the bad bits off and put them back:hide:
I would love to have my tank fitted in to the wall so you can see both side but I don't think my husband would be very happy if I started knocking down walls ( fried green tomatoes haha)
Shamazing well done you, your very talented, after Xmas I'm going to start pestering my husband for a bigger tank, if love to keep marine, but it looks to complicated, plus I've still lots to learn about tropical
