Just did a water change about 40 % and then checked ammonia and it's 1.0ppm the water smelt bad too!! Nitrates have gone Down to about 2.0ppm when it was 5.0 last week, do I do another pwc or wait until later and check again !!

Just added 5 fish to my tank , 3 neon tetras and 2 male guppys , the ammonia went to 0.25 so I did a 30% water change , nitrates are only 2.0 ppm , do I have to keep doing water changes everyday while the ammonia is this high?? Is 30% enough ?

I just read that the filter pads and foam should be changed every 2-3 months , wouldn't that be taking away a lot of the good bacteria?

I've recently lost all my fish after I upgraded their tank, I did everything right but I may have put too much water conditioner and biological supplement in , my friend has a 80L tank with healthy fish and she didn't add anything to the water!!!

I've upgraded to a bigger tank, put the filter foam out the old filter into the new filter , used old ornaments etc in the new tank and used all the old water out the old tank, but now one by one my fish and shrimps are dying :( why??? Surely stress couldn't kill them?
