I have the dimmable 120w LED fixtures and want something to control them for a sunrise to sunset feature...what is everybody using ?

Is the skimmer in the sump? Cause if so the elevated water level in the sump might be higher than the skimmers water level is supposed to be at causing skimmer to not work properly

Pour in the sand and take one of the empty bags and lay it on the sand and pour water onto the bag to reduce the amount of sand stirred up

By the looks of it I'll be having a lot of power heads / wavemakers and wave controllers...I'll be getting/buying another 2 LED fixtures and want to have a sunrise sunset feature for the lights...what does everybody use to control that? Also none of the lights have hanging hardware...the tank...

Update: traded some tattoo work for 2 reactors,3 full spectrum 120w dimmable LEDs ,a 3600 gph dart pump and a dolphin pump, a tunze 6060 and some corals

Update: got smaller sump (75 gal) in place (125 gal sump didnt work with space) looks like I'll have to modify sock holders.. Not liking the idea of horizontal drains..any advise?

Yea you should be fine...what I was meaning was to soak it in "water" for a while to loosen things up and use the toothbrush to clean it

And saltwater ich is different from freshwater ich

Just freshwater rinse and scrub with a toothbrush and it will be fine

So huma all you did was match the two drains flow rates?

Update: traded a tattoo for all of this- The mandarin is eating pods and frozen

seems that no matter what someone was going to say to you that you were going to do it anyways regardless of warnings so I wasted my time responding it seems...well have fun and do lots of research...those sharks don't deserve to die because of inexperience so do lots of homework before jumping...

That tank is no where big enough to attempt what you want to do and the process of keeping and breeding sharks is in the expert level of saltwater skills...not trying to burst any bubbles but that level of skill to successfully achieve what you are trying to do is hard to come by and takes many...
