Well, I am happy to announce I have upgraded from a 30g tank to a 55g tank. I currently have 2 angelfish, 3 female guppies, 1 male guppy, and 1 rubberlip pleco. I would like to add some platies and a rainbow shark or 2. Will the shark be compatible with what I have?

The store was out of the platies I wanted, so I got 4 guppies, 1 male and 3 female and decided to follow the advice on the danios and went with 2 angelfish. They are super cool looking. I will keep all updated with how things go over the next few weeks.

Thank you for the advice. I will work with the non chain store to rehouse the comet asap. So far I have not had any trouble with the rubberlip, he likes to hang out in the cave mostly. I will keep a close eye on that. What kind of tropical fish would you suggest?

They are 3 fancy goldfish. 1 is a comet, the other 2 are ryunkins. The comet and 1 of the ryunkins are what I would consider medium sized, about a 3 inch comet, not counting the tail, and about 3 or so inches on the 1 ryunkin. The other ryunkin is about 1.5 inches. The rubberlip is probably...

While I work on finding new homes for some of these fish, what can I do to help keep the ammonia levels down? I have started doing a 10-15 % change every other day. I don't want to kill the fish, but it will take me a little while to find a new home for them.
