Another question for yall. I have a pistol shrimp and heard they do better with a goby. Is this true? Is so what kind? And could I put one in my current 10gal nano? I have a juvenile clown about an inch and a small damsel also an inch.

This may be a dumb wuestion but how do you vaccuum sand? Its pretty self explanatory with gravel cuz nothing gets sucked up into it. But sand is a little different.

I have a 60 gallon glass aquarium that i will be converting to salt when I get the money but I have a few questions. Can I run canister filters instead of sump? Pros v. Cons? Why/ whynot? Do I need wave makers or just power heads to provide water movement? The tanks is 48Lx13Dx24T.

Good thing is my tank is cycling good. Bad thing I think my salinity is over. Its at 1.027 using a refractometer. Is this normal? Whats the range? Will it support life?
