Yeah I was thinking I would need at least another 25 watts.

I'm new at this and have just got a 65 gallon I'd like to plant. I'd like a floor of baby tears and a variety of other plants. I will have a compact 25 watt with reflector fluorescent light, no co2 injector. Also good natural light. Step one - what substrate? Layers? All fluorite?

This was suggested at my LFS. Currently have a bio wheel, thinking of adding a canister. Has anyone tried this? Benefits? Heavily planted, bordering on overstocked fish wise, especially given future growth of fish. Thanks!

Thanks for the help. Have done both and also found some liquid phosphate today. Have not added any yet - do not have a way to test phosphate??

Nope. Red ludwigiq, Anubis, sword, fern and moss. What is that?

Can I order those online? None of my LFS have them. Heard also Japonica shrimp?

I think it's green spot. Light not that high.... May even have been too low.
