Great pics. I love the koi and that huge tank, thanks for sharing. I do believe the fish in this pic would be a arowana not a Giant gourami. :)

A very rare fish... Who knows what it is?

What I understand is that this kind of color morph is limited to captive breeding so far. Of all the studies of wild fish, which is pretty extensive, that there have not been any found. There is another Australian lungfish in an Australian public Aquarium that has a few patches of yellow on its...

A very rare fish... Who knows what it is?

I will say it again, "it is the only specimen of its kind" and here is the definition of specimen. So yes, in regards to there being only one fish with this color in the world, I believe I worded it correctly, as it says above in the quote for the word "specimen" I got from the "Free dictionary...

A very rare fish... Who knows what it is?

B/C There is only one breeder in the world, currently and in the past who is legaly able to breed and use wild fish for the the purpose of breeding the Australian lungfish. He has a data base on all specimens caught and of wild ones that have been taged and released for study that is required...

ATS (algal turf scrubber) project smaller tanks 75 and 29gal

I would at least be trying to get the tank to turnover 3-4 times an hour. If that invloves to much water going into the dump bucket, run a seperate hose that feeds into the tray and run it over the srceen that way. Dr Adey suggest this when higher flow rates are necessary.

ATS (algal turf scrubber) project smaller tanks 75 and 29gal

All calculations seem to be fine, but I would be trying to get the flow up a little bit. The light if it is 220w should be fine too.

ATS (algal turf scrubber) project smaller tanks 75 and 29gal

How much surface area will the scrubber be? And just to refresh my memory how big is the tank? I should also mention that those flow stats are a minimum, you can go a little higher than that without any detrimental effects.

ATS (algal turf scrubber) project smaller tanks 75 and 29gal

No I havn't tested that theory, but my gh is about 2 or there abouts. As you may already know the gh will not affect the ph whatsoever,it is the kh and Co2 and maybe a few other factors that will effect the ph, like phosphate buffers, but I do not use any buffers so that can not be considered...
