Hello everyone! I have a nano reef tank with several different corals and some chaeto. Pretty small, two gallons in size. I bought a couple of sexy shrimp for it, but have noticed that they walk all over my corals and make them close. Is this bad for my corals?

I am considering making a skimmer for my 2.5 gallon nano tank. The little in tank nano skimmer available is just too big to fit. I pretty much need something that can sit mostly outside of the tank. Does anyone have any ideas or plans on how to make a skimmer that will work for me? Thanks :)

I have heard that it is BADBADBAD to use a tank that was previously used to house a rodent as a fish tank. The only reason I can see is that the ammonia 'stays in the seal' and can kill the fish. If that is the only reason, I don't know why it would be a problem, since the bacteria are there...
