How stuck is he? Do you think he can get himself out or can you ease him out? It might be that you have to break one of those little rails to give him more room.

I'm happy to report that the dino is much better. I covered the tank with a blanket for 48 hours and then left the lights off for another 24. I did a 20% water change, added some phosphate media and as of today, it is almost gone. Thanks to all who replied and helped me.

Be careful. I brought home a cute tiny little crab that my grandkids caught. He was probably about 5/8" diameter. Next thing I know he's the size of a nickel and scrapping with the fish for food. Then he decided the fish WERE food. My LF found him a home in an aggressive fish tank.

Yes, I've cut back lights and am doing water changes but I'm concerned about it hurting my corals before I can get rid of it.

Are you talking about the little white things?

I wouldn't worry about it too much but it seems to really bother my corals when it gets on them even a little. If it is green cyno, will the red cyno treatment work on it?

This slimy stuff can really only be vacuumed. Can't really grab it. I'll check out the articles. Thanks.

I have always had some hair algae but it's not too bad and I can deal with it, but now I have this green, slimy, stringy, algae growing. It has air bubbles in it and it seems to bother any coral it gets on. It vacuumed out easily but is pretty much back the next day. I would love some input on this.

Same here. I've had good luck with them. They eat the ones you can't get to.
