    Low Calcium?

Sorry, my tank is between 24 and 28gal. I also dose magnesium. Remember, whatever you dose, if there is a test for it, buy it, and if no test, follow the directions. Good luck. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Low Calcium?

You will need to dose. It's your frog spawn. Once my frog spawn started to grow, it went crazy. I was dosing like 8ml of cal a day to keep up and still had trouble keeping it up. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Crabs In Reef Aquarium

I love blue leg hermit crabs. They do a great job. Some say that they eat snails, and they might to get their shell. One thing about any cleaning crew is that if there is not much for them to feed on naturally in the tank, you must feed so they get some too or they will die.

    Controlling phosphates

I agree with Greg, doing water changes with RO water is the safest way to know for sure. In my opinion a combination of deep sand bed and water changes is even better and easier to manage as long as you do your research. Good luck.
