I now have a 55 gallon and stand which I am in the process of painting the stand. When it's done I will be setting it up and putting in the African cichlids from my 56 gallon tall,I want it to be a peacock tank in the future. Then with the empty 56 gallon I would like to move my empty 30 gallon...
Once I build my stand for the tank and order a new trim, gravel and a koralia pump, the rest I have. I am going to make this into a peacock tank here is what I was thinking
- 1 dragon blood
- 2 ob peacocks
- 1 creamsicle peacock
- 1 German red
- 1 Taiwan reef hap or a bicolor 500
-1 regal blue
On craigslist there are two tanks a 55 gallon and a 75 gallon. I want to upgrade my 56 gallon tall to a peacock/hap tank. The 55 comes with tank, stand, light and cover and is $80.
The 75 comes with 2 aquaclear 110s and glass covers. Which do you think is the better deal and will work out better?
So my friends tank is a 50 gallon tank with an aquaclear 70 on it. He has:
•5 red eye tetra
•4 bosemani rainbow fish
•1 convict cichlid
•1 honey gourami
•1 black shark
•1 bristle nose pleco
•1 green phantom pleco
• 1 porthole catfish
Is this overstocked or is there any problem with his stock?
So my family and I want a 125 gallon Hawaiian tank. Here is the stock I have planned:
•2 yellow tangs
•1 Picasso trigger
•1 lion fish
Could I add more or no? If so, any suggestions? Does this work and will I need any inverts or gobies?
So I have 5 tanks right now, but want to downsize. I have a 110 South American cichlid tank
A 55 African tank
A 30 gallon saltwater
A 30 gallon planted low-tech
And a 40 gallon oddball
I know I'm keeping the 110 and 30 gallon saltwater because I enjoy saltwater very much and want to upgrade...
For my 30 gallon tall tank I am looking for hardy fish that can give me some wiggle room
Here's what I was thinking:
•1 saddle valentini puffer?
• 2 ocellaris clowns
•1 sleeper banded goby
•1 bicolor dotty back
Any other suggestions?
So my empty 30 gallon eclipse will be turned into a saltwater. Hopefully, either tomorrow or Sunday I will get the live sand, salt and other things. Do I fill up tank, add salt then wait a few days to put in the sand and live rock or what?
I have a 56 gallon African cichlid tank with 2 ob peacocks, 4 kenyi, 1 red zebra, 1 maingano, 2 auratus. Would I be able to get another peacock or is my tank full?
I have a 110 gallon sa/ca cichlid tank and was planning on getting rid of my convicts, jewel and green terror to make room for some loaches to clean the bottom of the tank. Any suggestions?
I have a 30 gallon tank that has been running for about a year. But I just emptied all the fish and deco out. I ordered fluorite for it and already have about 10 amazon swords. This will be a low tech tank. What do you think about these plants:
• 2 wisteria
• 3 jungle val
• 3 java fern
• 1...
I have a 30 gallon with live plants and need some ideas for stocking
I was thinking
• 3 black angels
• 8 red eye tetra
• 2 German blue rams
• 1 albino longfin bristle nose
• 1 Botia loach
Is a 110 gallon with an oscar, black belt, jd, green terror, jewel, 2 convicts, a Senegal bichir and a pleco overstocked? The tank has 1270 gph and filters a total of 315 gallons.
I have a 110 gallon South American tank with a red oscar, a black belt,a jack Dempsey, a green terror, a jewel, 2 convicts, a Senegal bichir and a pleco. Is my tank overstocked? I have 2 canister filters and 1 HOB on it. It has a total gph of 1270.
I'm new to this site and have four fish tanks so I am not new to this hobby. I like large fish and cichlids mostly and more aggressive stuff. I have a 30 gallon oddball tank, another 30 gallon angelfish tank, a 56 gallon tall African cichlid tank and a 110 gallon South American cichlid tank.
