Try soaking your brine in garlic for about 30 minutes before feeding. It has worked for me.

I was wondering if I could turn my Maxijet 1200 powerhead 90 degrees so it is parallel to the floor and not standing right up. I didn't know if it would/could cause damage to the unit. The reason I want to turn it is for cosmetic purposes only. Thanks
