    New tank is home....

I just put water in the tank a couple hours ago. Instead of buying the pre-mixed seawater, i bought bulk salt. Just haven't put it in yet. Also what are you all running in your filtration? Will salt be slowly diluted by using certain kinds of filtration media?

    Sustainable tank for dwarf puffers?

DP's love snails. I had a huge overpopulation of snails in my 10 gal, added 1 DP and the problem has never returned. I added 5 shrimp to the tank a month ago and he didn't bother them. So they went into my 20 gal, and my mollies took care of them. With no snails in the tank my DP now feeds off...

    I's needin sum help!

Was my translation ok? Mollies are great for a 29 gal community tank, I have 2 dalmation mollies by them selves in a 20 gal right now. Very active fish, and easy to maintain, they are not as sensitive as other fish to water parameter changes.

OK, here we go. Did a 5 gal PWC this morning in the 20 gal. Ammonia reading of 4.0ppm  Yet the in tank monitor is reading 'safe' for the level. I'm guessing my test kit has gone bad :?:
