My yellow lab has not been very active for about a week. Now he's injured because he won't defend himself. I have him in a bucket with sea salt and melafix. Anyone have anymore suggestions?

One of my convicts has what looks like a tear on his lip which is also white. How concerned shall I be? I added melafix tonight to see if that helps. Any help would be appreciated
