    Power outage

True. I guess it depends if you want to run the whole tank system or just ones to keep it stable. Mine is just for emergencies and when it happens all I run is a pump, heater and air line.

    Power outage

I wasn't missing the point. I was just saying since someone said what about stacking them. I added because my friend has a bigger tank. Generators are great besides the fact they are loud and put off fumes.

    Power outage

My buddy has a 800w and 668 CCA battery. He ran a pump, heater and air tube system for his 125 for about 5 hours and the battery level only dropped to 51%.

    What are these snails?

Do they have little horns. If they do it's probably a nassarius snail

    Power outage

My inverter is 500W and battery is 300 CCA and it runs my 38 gallon with light heater and return pump for about 6 hours. If the battery would die just take it out and recharge it with your vehicle.

    Power outage

You can get a power converter and car battery to run the equipment. Cost you around 100 bucks and found at either Lowes or Home Depot. I keep one for back up in case something like that would ever happen.
