I think it's my water. It's tap conditioned with prime. If I started the tank with prime, would I be able to do a water tank with rodi water? What kind of water change should I do without upsetting the fish?

The rock was completely submerged the whole way, and the sand was new live sand in the bag. That also had water in it.

When I did my water change last week I added prime. Would it be too soon to add more and do I add the same amount??? The rock was labeled cured live rock. It has purple coraline algae on it. I mean I won't say I know 100%. 45 of it is live and 10 is base rock. Sorry I miss typed that earlier.

So we just set up our 55 gallon tank our neighbor gave us and we just noticed a crack!!! It's so close to the center. What should we do?!?!

Ohhh that's an idea! Our neighbor has a 2 puffers (porcupine and blue spotted), blue hippo, and 2 clown fish. What do you think of that combination?
