Ok, the tank has been up since late May. It is a 55 gallon. Besides the Cory's we pretty much just have Platy's, Swordtails and Guppies. And one BB goby and a few Ghost Shrimp. We did notice that a few of the catfish had tattered scales and would look like their shaking before they died.

Ok we we picked up some Pandas the other day and I have just flat fallen in love with them. I'd like to try to breed them some day how would I go about that? What are the steps to breeding Pandas? Can it be done in a aquarium? How can I tell who's male and whos female?

How do I put them out of their misery? Nitrate and water hardness. We live in So. Ca. the tap water is vary hard is it the same type? We have a water softener I've been told not to use the soft water. How do they get TB? And how do I prevent it.

Yes, I just changed the water today, I put in more fresh water then usual because they looked sick. When I was changing the water more often I was having trouble keeping the levels where they should be.

Thanks guys, Mom fish passed away 3 days after having birth She stayed alive just long enough to have them I found 3 fry swiming in the tank the day after she gave birth. I have no idea how they were able to swim in the open like that without becoming a meal? So add 3 to the total :mrgreen:
