    10 Gallon Freshwater question

In my honest personal opinion yes you tank may be too short to fully enjoy the beauty of a happy angelfish (i have also made my mistakes in this hobby and have not only learned from them but have done what you are doing and asked questions here and on other forums to learn things as well). Hmmm...

    10 Gallon Freshwater question

The cory cats will have no trouble, the angels however i wouldn't as yes they do need a tall tank and they also can get to be around 6" total length. I have a full grown angel in my 26g bowfront (24L x 24H x 16d), and her body alone is the size of my palm and dorsal tip to anal tip she's @ least...

    Thinking about taking the plunge

Hi guys....its been awhile since i made any posts here.. I have a 29g long, 36x12x16 fluval tank that i had running as an african cichlid tank (that has all but self destructed since my jewel went ballistic and killed off all but 1 tank mate) and my wife and i have tossed out the idea of a...

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

Definitely getting rid of the stand, its completely useless with that bad of a warp in the top. As for the tank I might try selling it, maybe someone can put a bit of sealant in the deep scratch and use it or use it for a lizard or something as I have no room to keep it and use it in my apartment.

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

Upgraded my 20g tall to a 26g bowfront over the weekend due to a rather deep scratch in the glass in the 20 that was making me nervous, found out after the fact the the 20's stand had was warping worse than we had thought and looked as if it would have broken in the next few months. Here's a pic...

    Fish ID

    Fish ID

Not 100% but it kind if looks like a Parachromis Dovii juvenile aka the wolf cichlid. Unsure because I haven't much experience with SA cichlids, maybe another user can verify if I was correct or not

    Betta and Guppies

Speaking from experience, dependent on the size of your guppies, they will be lunch I had 8 1 month old guppy fry in with my betta and 5 became lunch (this was a year ago), still have 2 guppies with him my 2 bigger guppies harassed and stressed the smaller one till it died, on and the first...

    Mouth Fight??

Yep, looks like they were in a scrap.. They should be fine and heal nicely in a few days. Are they new additions to your tank?? If so that could be why, they're establishing territories, or the 2 with the damage are males and are fighting for dominance . Rusties are beautiful when they grow and...

Yea I read that may happen there's lots of caves and hiding places in that tank, and his diet will be met, so hopefully he won't eat anyone. I'll post some better pics of the little guy later. When he adjusts fully to his new home.
