    Bumblebee Cichlid

    Does anyone know at what size a male bumblebee cichlid will begin to turn black. I have one that is about three inches, but still hasn't changed its color to black. Is it safe to assume it is a female?

    Need help identifying these cichlids

    This fish will sometimes have black vertical stripes when it gets aggressive. It also has a bit of a yellow belly.
