I am going to be getting a new fish tank very soon for my goldfish, and I was wondering what plants are compatable with goldfish and how to care for those spacific plants. Also, if I where to but a rubbernose pleco or some other algea eater in thattank, would it eat my plants?

I went to my local pet store the other day and saw "painted" glasses fish for sale there...or at least thats what they called them. They had not been injected with colour, so I'm not sure why the claimed they where painted. I know they wernt glass catfish. I wish I could find a picture of them...
