So this is my tank
3 swordtails
10 zebra danios
1 black moor
I know that you guys said that there temps need to be different but I looked on my aquarium guide and this is what it said.
Swords 61-86 degrees
Zebra Danios 64-82
Goldies 50-82
So I keep it at 73 I know that the black moor will get...
Ok this is kind of a stupid question but are there any land plants that live underwater too? I just bought some bamboo I don't know if it is the same kind as land bamboo but it looks the same.
I love the danios way cooler then the swords I think. But one of my swords died :( my water is fine and all of the other fish were fine but he just wasn't feeling good. He was the king of the tank because he was the biggest fish in there. But now my danios are almost surpassing my swords. They...
I wasn't meaning that you are bad at taking care of fish. I was just saying that the tank was to small . But if you can keep perfect water conditions and are looking to upgrade then you are doing better then me. I can't keep perfect water conditions when I'm under stocked. But trust me I've made...
Ok I don't know much about goldfish. But common goldfish and comets look really cool. I know that they get pretty big but I don't know how big. I also don't know if they are aggressive. But I really want one. So my 29 has 10 danios and 4 female swords. Could I add a Goldie or will he eat my fish?
Well I have them now and I thought it would be better for one fish to go then four fish to go back. I am probably just going to add one male swordtail and a king betta also the 4 Cory's I will only be 1 gallon overstocked. Does everyone think that this is ok or not?
Finally someone who bows liters and goldfish I didn't know that it was only a 5 gallon tank he needs at least a 55 or better. That is why they keep dying. I would try to get a bigger tank or find a better home for the fish.
I ended up just taking my gourami back. Are there any good centerpiece fish that can handle the swords and a pretty good current from my bubbler. My betta can't go in there because his fins are to long and he can't swim to well in strong currents but I wouldn't worry about the swords with him...
Ok so I am having trouble with my swords and gourami. They won't leave him alone they just keep nipping. So I was wondering if I could keep him with my betta in a 10 gallon. My betta killed a baby bn pleco once so which would be better. I put him with my betta for now and my betta kind of seems...
What kind of algea eater is it? I hope it isn't a chinese algea eater. They grow to be huge and suck the slim off the other fish and eventually killing them. I would deprecate the two because he is going to cause him to have stress and weaken his immune system which you really don't need right...
Ok so I had ich with my oscar and pleco. I don't believe that the medicine Is worth it. I used the medicine but it didn't help and It just made the water cloudy. So what I recommend is raising the temp to about 80 all this does is make the life cycle of the ich speed up. When the ich is attached...
And also the swordtails seem kind of nippy but the danios give it back to them I am just worried about the dwarf gourami because he hasn't eaten anything that I have seen but he just swims away when the swordtails start messing with him. He isn't hiding but he hasn't eaten do you think I need to...
Ok so I need a clean up crew I am torn between Corys or a bn pleco. I live the way bn plecos look but they aren't as active as corys. I think that corys will do a better job of cleaning up but I just want a second opinion.
Ok so thus is what I got.
10 danios
4 female swordtails (couldn't resist)
1 dwarf gourami
1 male betta ( I added him in from my 5 gal so I had one less tank.)
Does all of that seem ok or does someone need to move to my empty 10 gal?
