i have a 44 gal tang with a damsel a tomato clown and a yellow tang. i no the tank is not big enough for the tang but i realle really wanted to get a kole tang that would be the last of my stocklist will they live togather??? at least for a year??

my tank finished cycling about a week before i put the fish in. and no i only did a 3 gallon water change in my 44 gal tnak after cycle.

i did not qt them i put the bag in and waited 15 min then added a lin of my water waited 5 min then added a lim more a couple times and them put them in. they swam fine for 2 days. no there were no spots on them they looked fine.

i used a raw shrimp to cycle the tank. and no i think the teperature stays around the same the most ive seen it was 77 and the least was 75.

The eggcrate from HD would be better for gas/oxygen exchange wat??? does this mean the eggcrate is not good?? and idk if my light kit is shielded if its not can i just put a piece of glass under it so nothing goes wrong??

my salinity is 1.023 and temp is 76 F.

can i buy eggcrate from HD? and if i put the eggcrate and the lights on top wouldent that evaporate alot of water?? i was thinking of puting a little piece of glass under every light is that a good idea??
