    Critters

I set my marine tank up nearly 12 months ago and have various fish however other than a blue legged hermit crab which is pretty much full size and a sea hare and the odd snail that's come with the rock. I have no little critters. I don't want anything that will upset or be attacked by the crab...

    Leopard wrasse

Today I brought a beautiful leopard wrasse. In the LFS he buried straight into the sand when they went to catch him. I have acclimatized him and added to the tank and he has gone straight into the sand. That was about 6 hrs ago and he still hasn't made an appearance. How long is it normal for...

    Which anemone.

You have a point there. My tank is 77cm deep. I will upgrade the lights in a few months what would you recommend. I'd rather save up Ang get decent ones. I also want a new skimmer as the current one was part of a start up kit and the water isn't as clear as I want ideally. Any suggestions would...

Dumb Noob Move, I mean dumb!

I had an issue with weird algae. I looked into it and brought a sea hare. There ugly creatures although dispite having shrimps, angels, crabs and the like the kids think it's the coolest thing in there. It destroyed all the algae within a few days. I'm new to the marine side so I'm sure experts...

    Which anemone.

That's great. I'm fine with fish but to be honest corals, polyps, anemone and all that I'm completely new to but there as interesting as the fish and a hobby in themselves. I always thought it was odd anybody who just had tanks full of "plants", but when you investigate them there as complicated...

So would I be best to get some lps or the ones you mentioned. What are your thoughts on polpys. I want to start covering the live rock a little so...

    Good starter corals

I think the underwater world is brilliant. Problem is marine tanks are not that common where I am and people who know what they are talking about ate few and far between.

    Good starter corals

Yeah it is hard. corals seem harder to choose than the fish. I want something that will keep me interested, that said the LR does that. Ha. But mainly that the kids will find interesting so colours and shapes and the way the feed are important but they also need to be fairly hardy. To many choices.

    Good starter corals

The bubble coral looks really nice. Do they grow slow and not to big I don't want anything taking over the tank. If I get a few bubbles in different colours. How are you best to place them in the tank? What else have you got. I like some of the mushroom corals too but are not sure.
