    50 or 55

yeah your stocking looks good except the clown loaches.. as previously stated those will get way to big for a 50 gallon yes they look small when you buy them but if you have to get clown loaches i would suggest 75 at a minimum probably closer to 125.. A good alternative to clown's are Angelicus...

I have marineland c360 on my 50 gallon and I love it you would not want filter floss on the bottom would get clogged up to quickly I think! My setup is 1st level 2 sponges 2nd level carbon 3rd level bio balls, fourth level Caramic filter media, and on top of that polishing pads right before goes...

Weekly water changes really a must?

I do weekly changes on my 50 and 10 but that's just because It only takes me like 15 min with a water change system I don't know that it's completely necessary in all tanks i would say that largely depends on your filtration stocking level and type of feedings and frequency I have great...

My 55 gallon tank turned brown from a piece of driftwood. How do I clean it up, or sh

I don't see the brown but it's brown from tannins released by the driftwood they are not harmful to your fish but if you do not like them you can do more frequent water changes + add carbon to your filter.. In the future you can decrease tannin release by soaking the driftwood for a couple of...

    55 gallon freshwater angelfish

That I'm not to sure I would think that it would affect them paring up though as my first two already appear to have paired off together but that had not really been a big concern for me though as I have never planned on breeding the angelfish.. Don't have the room for that in our apt.. But...

    55 gallon freshwater angelfish

And in regards to angelfish community tank I have not had a problem with them from what I have read an ideal number of angelfish is 4 to 5 that the dominant angelfish won't stress out any single fish to much and the picking is evenly distributed throughout the angelfish community Sent from my...
