Have you considered angel fish? I keep German blue rams with angelfish in community..... if your interested in gouramis, pearl gouramis do well with both angle fish and Bolivians in a community tank...

I've never had an issue with angle fish eating my schooling fish. I've always liked serpae tetras and lemon tetras. One of my favorites is rummynose but they are more expensive.

What is it for?
