I have a betta in with some fish that they say it shouldn't be with. My male betta is in with an angel fish, 3 clown loaches, 2 sunrise platies, a male and female dwarf gourami and a bristlenose plec. All get on absolutely fine but it also depends on the temperament of the fish.

I took the swordtails back as they kept harassing each other and replaced them with a pair of dwarf gourami. All is happy at the moment, apart from the amount of waste my plec produces! He's a machine!

I have 3 small clown loaches and am wondering if these 2 are pregnant? 2 of them have these bellies, slightly swollen and a blackish colour. And one of them does not have it at all. Thanks

I played with it today and the problem was the flow rate coming back into the tank was picking up sand and debris from the bottom so I have adjusted the spaybar with bigger holes and it has cleared up within an hour or so

Yeah I have renewed some of them. They are all in the right order. I'm wondering if it's the current picking up sand. I'll tinker with it tomorrow. Thanks for the advice

I hose all the crap off the bottom twice a week, the small waste doesn't seem to settle.

I checked it the best I could all seems to be working fine. The outlet is blowing out water really well. The filter says it goes up to 200L
