My 70 litre aquarium

Hi SherLar, In my larger tank I have 5 cardinal tetra and 10 platy. Probably too many I know!!. They had babies :). Oh I have to say my smaller tank is running as a cold water at the moment.

Hi, I would really love some Pygmy corydoras or some sort of small corydora. I have a 70 litre tank but that is already stocked. I also have a 35 litre tank, could I put any in there or is it too small? Also both tanks have gravel in, the 70 litre has very small black and white gravel and the 35...

The female definitely doesn't want to know, think she is getting peed off with it...lol. That's why she is hiding :)

So I now have 5 platy fry, 2 are about 2 and half centimetres and the other 3 are a bit smaller. :) The rest of my tank contains mum and dad platy, 1 cardinal tetra and 3 black tetra, oh and a dwarf catfish. My question is why is the male chasing the female and making her hide in a rock...

I have 3 cardinal tetra and 3 black tetra and 2 platy in the tank. I still have 3 babies this morning..yay!

I have 3 baby platys again and they are about 1cm, the rest of the fish don`t seem to be bothering them. The babies are just foraging around. Hope they do survive though , will be nice to see them grow up :)

Hi, My platy occasionally flicks off a plant is that behaviour or is there something wrong?

I think mattyfelts meant me, but I asked the man in the aquatic shop and he said that amount was ok. I have another tank that is a bit bigger that has my one goldfish in but it's a coldwater tank and has no hood with a light.

Hi Dangreen, I have tetras in there as well, I found a baby platy in there earlier today :)

Hi i`m Jane and I am new to this forum. I shall probably be asking for lots of advice :) I`ve had my tropical tank for about 2 years now and I started off with guppies but it seems I cant keep those they die easily. I am having more success with tetras and platies at the moment.
