it is probably called ESTES Marine Sand that is all that i use for my salt tanks. Here is a nice pic of my saltwater reef 125 gal with about 80 lbs of the sand, i mixed 2 colors to get a nice purple glow.

wow 5 gallons a day, is that saltwater or you toppin off with freshwater. I only do a 5 gallon water change every 2 weeks, as that is what i have always been told to do. My nitrate, nitritie, ammonia, and ph all stay perfect. I top off about every 2 days with freshwater...
