    Cycling a planted tank...

    Soo its been one week since I set up my tank. I tested my water today(week2) and I got the result of Ammonia 0.25/0.50(light green) Nitrite 5.0(purple) Nitrate 0(yellow) Is this fine for 1 week? I didn't use any ammonia. Just have like 4 MTS in the tank... Pic: http://imgur.com/wrG4QxM

    how to get rid of left over food?

    hi guys new to the forums I have one question how to get rid of left over food?? i take about 1/3 of the water in the tank weekly with a vaccum and switch it., but when i stir around the gravel alot of flakes floats around and idk how to get rid of them i tried using a net doesn't work...
