I got the idea from the tank the newport aquarium had set up like this. They had a couple white crayfish and a good amount of tetras in the tank. But it was also fairly large so I would have no idea how the crayfish would fair with the corys and tetras.

So I have a 28 gallon bow front tank just laying around and I think I may have an idea for it. I was thinking like a cave tank. After doing some research I've come to the conclusion of 5-7 blind cave tetras along with 4-6 albino corydoras. I also want to add a white crayfish into the tank. But...

Thanks alot on the info about the amazon swords and what was what I thought was the emerald cory. That's what the pet store had them labeled as. Should of known a little better.

I was looking at an aqua-tech 20-40 for it. Do ya think that would be a little much for the 10 gal?

So I have my tank running nicely and have a good bio load for the tank which includes a dwarf gourami, a juli cory(on one of my other threads I called it a zebra the store I bought it from had it mislabeled), a emerald cory, a bamboo shrimp, a blue apple snail, and at the moment 2 black neon...

I was plannin on getting atleast 1 or 2 more black neons and that's it. I will get a bit more plants. As for water maintenance I clean the filter and change about 50% of the water every week and a half.

If at all possible a flamboyant cuttlefish would be my top choice but I know how hard it is to come across those also a dwarf cuttlefish would be ideal.

Small bits of fish and shrimp is what we used at the aquarium, he'll definitely do some redecorating, they're scavengers and not active swimmers though but at his size his shell isn't that helpful in protection from larger fish. For food, frozen shrimp, will do, he'll also scavenge off of left...

It's definitely a pistol shrimp. The one's I've seen are usually white and red striped but it's just another kind of pistol shrimp. As for keeping them, I've never kept them before so I wouldn't be able to help much there as for the fish going missing... it is a slight possibility since pistols...
