    Are these Diatoms??

    I am in the 2nd week of cycling a new 24gallon SW tank and these have popped up all over the rocks and sand within the last 2 days. Are they diatoms? they are rust colored and have small pieces sticking out of them. I can try and get better pictures if needed, also should I just let the tank...

    Finished setting up my Aquapod24!!

    Just finished setting up my Aquapod 24 today, I have 20# rock 8# live rock and 20# live sand. Now the waiting game starts for it to cycle. Anyone have advice on whether to run lights during cycle and how long? I have blue and white LEDs.
