    Transitioning my 10 gallon from freshwater to saltwater

    Can someone walk me through how to transition from a freshwater to a saltwater tank please? I have a ten gallon I've had for five years or so fully cycled and previously housed goldfish and then transition to housing a cichlid.

    What's in my tank?

    These particles are accumulating at the bottom of my tank. I've been using a manual siphon to auction the gravel. Am I doing something wrong? Help!

    Compatible with ghost shrimp & albino mini pleco in a 20 gallon?

    My priority is keeping my pleco healthy I've had him for years. Would it be wise to give him his swimming space in a 20 gallon and just add plants? Or what fish can I add? He used to be a bully when I first got him, but he's nice to the shrimp now.
