So I got a couple new fish today and in the bag with them was a few tiny sprigs of Hornwort. How big of a piece would I need for it to grow and flourish? They are kinda small.

I have a guppy that does the exact same thing. The first time I saw him do this I thought he was dead but he woke up, so I decided he must be sleeping. I still see him do this from time to time. I've had him for about 4 months now.

My plan was to get 6 but the LFS said I should only add 3 at a time. How soon can I add 3 more without throwing off my water parameters? Could I add 3 Cherry Barbs with them instead of 3 more Rasboras?
