    Stocking help

Zebra danios are schooling fish and need a school of at least 6. The loaches do well in even larger schools like 8, tiger barbs usually do better in bigger schools as well so they spread out their aggression within the group more.:)Alison

Moved into a house with this!

Softshell turtles get 2 feet across and have a very strong bite like a snapping turtle. They are capable of removing a diget and their neck allows them to reach back to their back feet and beyond. Their diet in the wild is fish and anything else they can catch. We have them living in our back...

    Pleco advice please!

I would go for the albino BN plecos myself, for the reason that they are easier to spot because of the color, they don't blend into the background, Clowns tend to be more nocturnal where the ABN's are out and about more. Beside algea wafers, bottom feeder wafers and shrimp pellets, they should...

    Need advice please!!

One of your major problems is that goldfish are cool water fish and angel fish need temps of 78 to 80 degrees. the krib is also a warmwater fish. Can you put the goldfish in another tank. You shouldn't need a heater for him but it is a must with the other two. Alison

Using an old 55 gallon tank?

Just get a glass top for it and then get the type of light that sits on top of the glass. The glass tops come with a hinge in the middle, and fit on the inside lip of the trim. then it has a plastic piece that slides in the back and can be cut to fit the tubings and cords. Alison

HELP- New tank setup- killed all fish in 3 hours

Hi again, My guess would be the change in PH was too much for them. Most fish store don't keep their tanks at a PH of 6.8 . That would explain the the death in three hours from PH shock. Try testing the water from the fish store to see what their PH is compared to yours. Can you use your tap...
