    Help identifying brown stuff...

Its been running since early april. Ive kept to doing water changes for 15% on every saturday since it finished cycling. The water I replace sits in 1gallon water jugs for 24hrs before the changes so the sun can pull the bad stuff out of tap water, besides my treatments. I dont think its...

clown loaches.. pros, cons and everything else

Thats funny. My clown loaches will not eat brine shrimp at all. Live, frozen or freezedried! I even had two bamboo shrimp in with them for a while without any attacks... Now if you put bloodworms in there.... Then its go time ;-) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Hey everyone

My mollies, tetra, corys, rainbowshark, betta (though monitor how much the betta gets, too often and he'll ONLY want to eat it and not his other food). And my snails all clean through the stuff. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Hey everyone

Bloodworms are a type of treat food, you can find live, frozen or freezedried in most any pet stores. I prefer freezedried to prevent chances of some pests/contamination. There's also tubifex worms that mine like to eat too. Take a cube and press it up against the glass and they chow down...

    Hey everyone

Also be aware that live plants may carry in unintentional guests, like pond snails. So be sure to look them over well, otherwise you may need to use the waterbottle trick to remove them if they multiply. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Hey everyone

This ones my 55G. I like your tank, the blue rocks look awesome with your orange and yellow fish in there. If you do go for live plants id look into ones that like high amounts of light for how bright your tank is. I'm sure your fish will also love you once they get a cave or two, I know my...

    Hey everyone

Wouldnt be too bad, the live plants in my tank when I started turned out okay, just research them to find what will thrive with the lighting you have in your tank. Some like lots of light, some dont. Three stage filters are good, my 10 runs an aquaclear like that with a sponge/charcoal pack...

Im sure he'd love any bigger tank :-) I have one in a 10 Gallon, only problem I came across was in finding an adjustable flow HOB filter to reduce the current in his tank. Your betta looks very pretty though. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Hey everyone

Oh my god those people are horrible! Yes, they lied to you a lot. They have no responsibility in the fish market and it sounds like they just look forward to you restocking your fish constantly from their poor advice. I'm no expert, but I'll try to help how I can... First, a good filter does...

    Hey everyone

If they told you that its unnecessary id never go back there again. Water evaluations are critical to maintaining a healthy tank, and understanding how your fish are affected. I'm sorry they told you that misinformation :-(. My LSF and Petco both do water samples too, just make sure you ask...
