Danio dead, should I be concerned?

I'm concerned about the other 2 danios as their bellies are looking larger than normal as well. I think I'll fast them for a good 3 days and see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Danio dead, should I be concerned?

Oh, already did that as soon as I noticed something was going on and it wasn't going away. Then I isolated him in a hospital tank. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Danio dead, should I be concerned?

Hello, my Danio died this weekend and as you can see from the picture it was really bloated. When I opened its stomach it was all feces. But I had been feeding them some green peas and given days without food. What made this fish stop pooping? Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Bloated Zebra Danio

Did it look like this? I've had a danio stick like this for weeks. He is acting normal, even still eating. I tried fasting him twice now. His scales are NOT sticking out, so it's not dropsy. Not sure what to do. Going to try peas with garlic oil tonight to see if he just is stuck up. But I've...

Danio got really fat in 3 days

Dropsy. Almost incurable and danios are susceptible. Look it up online. Must be treated IMMEDIATELY for even the remotest chance of survival. Sorry. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

1out of 3 Danio fish has Bloted Bladder

If you get some garlic oil or extract it will make the peas even more appetizing. Look online. Garlic is great for health of fish including preventing parasites, and it triggers their appetite. Make sure it is 100% garlic. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Can't get ramshorn snails to populate

Ok, so a yr ago I was on here trying to deal with an outbreak of ramshorn snails. I had 200+ in my 29 gallon tank. I got 2 assassin snails and 3 yoyo loaches. I noticed a few months ago that I hadn't seen a snail for a while and the algae in my tank was getting unmanageable. I have bought more...

    Babysitting pregnant guppy

Hey all, I'm taking care of my fathers pregnant guppy while he is away ( he doesn't care if the fry get eaten, but my 5 year old does). How pregnant is she and approx. when should I expect the fry? I have a fry saver, but don't want to set it up until she is just about to give birth. Sorry for...

    S-shaped dwarf gourami

Wow, that is really bent. Well as long as he's eating, is pooing and is seperated, what harm in just trying to treat him and if it doesn't work and he doesn't seem to be in pain, let him continue to live like that. But I think it must be TB, I've never seen a gourami with such a twisted back...

    Copper cory cat not thriving

Came home after work today and he was laying on his side, so thin, about a cm at his waist. He was miserable. Last night I had placed a piece of food right in front of him. Frozen blood worm. He didn't even look at it. It sat there for about 2 mins in front of him before another fish came by and...

Okay, I'll give it a week and try my best to get him to eat. Incase this doesn't work, is clove oil the most humane way of euthanizing him? Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Copper cory cat not thriving

Oh no. :( I hope this isn't the case. How long should I wait for it to get better/perk up before considering euthanizing him? I don't want him to be in any pain. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Lost a catfish, one missing a tail but still alive

Dragon, where are you? I am in north western Canada and I have a full setup 5 gallon with heater, filter, etc that I could give you for your betta. I used it for my betta before I moved him to a community tank. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Copper cory cat not thriving

Thanks all. I will keep on eye on him. Even when I put food right beside him he doesn't touch it. But he couldn't still be alive if he hasn't eaten for 3 weeks, right? He must be eating something. I'll post back, hopefully with happy news. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    S-shaped dwarf gourami

Okay, did a bit more research and it could be Dwarf Gourami Disease which can look like TB. It includes sores as well. If it is this disease, it isn't curable and the fish will need to be euthanized. Also if there are any other gouramies in your tank they may well have it too. Remove the sick...
