    Newbie to Saltwater Tanks!

A sump is a separate tank often placed in the stand below your display tank. The are great for housing equipment for you tank like protein skimmers and heaters. Things that take up room in your display tank and also look ugly. They also add water volume to your system which helps keep your water...

    Gutted

Bought a mesh screen for the top of my new rimless tank last weekend. Needed a new hacksaw blade to cut it to size. Got home with all intentions of outing the screen together tonight. Looked in my tank as normal when I walk through the door and couldn't find my six line. Only when I looked...

Started off 2 years ago with my first salt water tank. Bought it second hand from a bloke who was upgraded his tank. It was a 39 gallon (uk) corner tank with a couple of cheaper powerheads metal halide lights and an external canister filter. I upgraded parts when I could afford to and have now...

    Easy corals

Sun corals have great colour and don't require expensive lights as far as I know. They do however need regular feeding. So maybe can't consider them as easy. I am a huge fan of them Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    CUC

I have somewhere between 5 and 10 Nassarius snails in my 46 gallon tank. Not sure how many because you never see them all at once with them living in the sand. But they are cool to watch when the come out of the sand when you are feeding your fish. Sent from my iPad using Aquarium Advice

Have seen people feed prawns from the supper market. All I can find is cooked and frozen prawns. Will these be OK to feed if I thaw them in some tank water. Just wasn't sure with them being cooked Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Hoping this isn't

Ok great. So I took the piece of rock out and put boiling water on the pest nem. Used a syringe to avoid getting any on the plate coral. The nem seems to have disappeared. Hoping that's the last I see of it Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice
