    Weird mouth growth

Good news it's looking a lot better today and regaining color. I'm wondering if maybe he just hit it on a rock or something? A few others had discolored spots but nothing big and swollen like the one I photographed. It never looked fuzzy like cotton mouth.

It is one bloodfin terra with a large white/pink bump on his mouth. A few other of the tetras have a similar things on their mouth but none as big as this one. It seems to be getting worse. Ammonia-0 Nitrite-0 Nitrates-10 They are in a 55 gallon aquarium that has been set up for at least 3...

    What Is this?

Hm I guess I'll just do some extra water changes. I was just worried it was a tumor or something though

    What Is this?

I did have a neon just randomly die (just because they are getting old and not very hardy i think) this caused a small ammonia spike but I did a 75% water change and took out the body and it's good now. This bump has slowly gotten worse it's grey in color and lumpy. I don't think he's being nipped

    Add color to tank

I'm actually pretty new to plants also. I have the same problem because I want some more colorful plants but don't have a real high tech set up that red plants need. All green plants doesn't look as good to me in my opinion. I think some iron also helps bring out the color a little, but I'm no...

    What Is this?

My betas top fin doesn't look so good. It doesn't look like fin rot but I'm not sure I thought he was just getting old as I've had him for a little over a year now.

    CO2 help

That's where I messed up I should have gotten the premium with the adapter. I had no idea the tanks lasted that long though I'll stop being so stingy with the bps then I guess.

    CO2 help

I currently only have it set to 2 bps right now also. I didn't know that to little of co2 could cause algae either my plan was to run it at only 2bps and make each tank last. I thought that some co2 would be better than none but I guess that's not the case. I'm also supplementing with excel if...

    CO2 help

I'm sorry this is all fairly new to me, I'm not getting very much co2 dissolved because my diffuser isn't very good or I don't have enough bps. I guess I'll get a drop checker also but planted aquariums sure are expensive I couldn't imagine the cost if I were to get a even bigger tank.
