Its possible that he/she is guarding eggs. I'd look around the tank to make sure there aren't any hiding somewhere. Is it gasping for air? I had a ram die after days of gasping at the bottom. Just keep a look out for a dead body so u can get it put as soon as possible Sent from my Nexus 7...

I'd say any sort of flakes would be fine. Most tetras aren't very picky. However, I would feed a variety of dry foods for best results. Otherwise they will not have as balanced of a diet Sent from my Nexus 7 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

Not sure then, did u get the rams all at the same time? How long did you cycle the tank for before adding them. I'd do some tests for PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. Hope he pulls through but I don't think your chances are great. What's he acting like now?

Does anyone have experience breeding German Blue Rams? I have a pair that spawned once but the eggs were eaten by snails. Any ideas on how to help them be more successful parents?

I'd use MELAFIX by API. It's worked for my Rams and helps with many fungal infections. I don't feel the need to remove carbon it works with it left in from my experience.

It could be that it's getting bullied by the other rams how big is your tank and what is the male-female ram ratio

Suggestions on live plants IMO Java fern is by far the best low light aquarium plant. It never melts, takes low light and grows steadily with no ferts or Co2. Hope this helps. Good luck planting.
