Did you use any use filter media/substrate etc that bacteria could have been on? And +1 with plants. I'm just wondering if you've managed to kick start your cycle and plants are taking things out? Otherwise - you've realised all of our dreams!! An ammonialess tank!

I would wait until the nitrite has been processed before you go and get your fish. After 3 months fishless cycling, I'm assuming you don't want to do a fish in cycle now!

I've got a 40litre with zebra danios, glowlight tetras and corys. I like that they all swim at different heights so the tank looks really busy!

The ones in the lfs that say they are for 300 litres are like the same height as the tank and a bit more difficult to hide I thought when I saw them. AT the moment I have a fluval....2 maybe something like that. Its quite old but its so easy so change bits inside!
