Driftwood and big river rocks are the way to go. For plants I'd go with java fern and anubis anana tied too the driftwood

Yeah that's all I does with it unless I'm making food then I use a food processor to blend the beef heart, tilapia, shrimp, pellets, vitamins, spalina algae powder, and organic pea baby food together.

I feed mine hikari massivore delite, super worm's, talapia, white shrimpe, hikari cichlid gold, night worms, and my homemade food, and hikari carnivore sticks.

This guy let me smooth him and eats out of my hand. Also he hates when I turn off the light in my fish room when his tank light is on, he goes nuts lol

SeaChem Florish Excel works well. Black algae is harmless it just looks bad and can be very hard to get rid of. Hope this helps
