Need some insight from you experienced aquarists... I have a set of current fresh water LEDs - they put out 600 lumens. Found a lumen to watt converter on google and I apparently have 10 watts under these lights. Would 10 watts be sufficient with 10 gallons if I intend on starting with low light...

Gracias! And no I do not. My substrate consists of a thin layer of sand, and about 3 inches of river rock...I think there's about 60lb of river rock in there..can't remember. Its deep enough I can bury the root system without hitting the bottom of the tank. I am SoT. ~fish&surf~

You are correct, I miss spoke - it is in fact limewood - and no, my LFS unfortunately does not carry them. I am SoT. ~fish&surf~

I would not recommend this skimmer - you need a limestone air stone, which is very hard to find. I have no other skimmer to compare this too, but all in all it seems to be a waste of $35 bucks....you get what you pay for... i am SoT o.0 ~fish&surf~
