yes that is what I mean run it at night to take away what the plants produce and ad more oxygen. I only want 1 in there to remove the film that seems to be building up on the surface.

I been looking for a new filter with a spray bar. so if I have 1 its best to have it only come on at night so I don't remove all the co2 from the diy co2 maker ?

if the co2 is dissolved by the time it's out of the filter will the air still take the co2 out of the tank?

my diy :) did not have enough air pip that's why its in front of my tank and a bit all over the place. I have a slight leak from top of big bottle 1 will try and sort it out tonight, its seems to be 100% dissolved :)

don't the plants give out more co2 at night though? like trees

have set it up now will see what happens. I have the pipe in the foam in my return pump in my sump to main tank. I let you now if it works :)

never new that ever. thanks again :) (air only raises the pH in the tank. And co2 lowers it). Thing is my plants seem to grow really well and fast in my tank already but they don't seem to root at all :S that is why I fort try the diy co2.

can the air in the sump stay on and my 2 return pipes to the sump produces shed loads of air bubbles will that still be okay? sorry if that is a stupid question all new to me

Has any 1 used a Hidom EX Aquarium Fish Tank External Canister Filter & Media 1000/1200 Lph are they any good? or do they come with lots of problems?
