I understand but I have a good bit of knowledge myself. When it gets bigger or if it comes out where I can catch it I will go trade it in. Also the lights are doing pretty good.

Who said I was adding a boat load of fish? This is the only forum that has a problem with the way im going. You say your 6ib goby hides most of the time. If it hides it doesnt truely need swimming room. It hasnt came out of its hole so idk what it truly is. Every tank is different. What didnt...

    10 gallon reef process

It could but have you tried it? Its not the family. Its that each fish is different. Lfs and a few people told me lawnmower blennys wouldnt each brown algea. Wrong. Both that I have had have ate it. If you arent a marine biologist then how do you know whats going to happen? Even if you was a...

Well ill play this one off of liveaquaria. You wont be able to keep anything in a 5g due to them requiring a 10g or more. Have you tried anything in a 5g? If not then your input is not needed. I didnt ask for help. I just simply posted my tank. You say a couple of trimma gobies but yet they also...

    10 gallon reef process

Jhawk if the damsel was added last and the clown has his territory claimed then the damsel shouldnt be a problem. Someone with a 5g nano had both in a reef. Ive noticed this forum either wants you to spend a ton of money or try bashing you on what fish you can and cant keep.

So with my night lights on it gets enough light but with my day lights on it doesnt get enough? All gobies require a 10g or more. So therefore by what you are saying none will work in my tank. Liveaquaria use to have that pistol shrimp require 30g or more. Now they dont say that. I didnt ask for...

Thanks hank. My anthelia and mushroom are doing great. Ive got to move my duncan. It doesnt seem to like the light. My tank is only 5g maybe yours wasnt getting enough coverage? The goby is more of a black/green color. It was like that when I got it. I think its a bluespotted watchman goby. If...

Weak for what size tank? Im getting moderate wattage per gallon out of it. If people can have a 14w par30 bulb what is the difference in a 14w fixture with however many leds? Do you have a personal experience with them? I dont need radians or ai sols lighting up a pico aquarium. Its poinless...

Not quite sure. But im getting 2.8w per gallon. It should be good for moderate light corals

i want to start a nano tank

The 2 clown were both removed. The 5g fluval (the long one) is now a QT tank. The 5g tall is a Marineland portrait style tank. It now has anthelia, a 7 headed duncan, and a blue mushroom. Took the powerhead out. It was aggravating the duncan.

    New light questions

If they are doing well then the light might not be too much. Just watch them to make sure they dont get bleached. If they start bleaching then move the light higher. Most leds require a 6-14" off the waters surface.
