    Patience sucks

Go with a 36" Nova Extreme Pro. Its a nice HOT5 fixture. Its 6x39w with individual reflectors. Overall it gives you about the same output as a 150w HQI. Check them out here. Nova Extreme Pro T5 High Output Lighting Fixture - 36 in. | T5 Lighting | Lighting Systems | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com

    Thinking of my next coral...

Froggys are nice. Like stated above that was also one of my first corals as well. I love the look to them. You could also try some zoanthids. Be careful with the brains corals. They prefer to be kept in the sand bed. Make sure you have adequate lighting before trying one. What for...

    New Fish!

Nice. What size tank. Hopefully the larger bio-load of a tang does not kick up your HA again. Got any pictures?

    being overtaken by white starfish!

They hitchhike, usually on coral or live rock. They will eat anything they want. Not all starfish are herbivores. There are also different species of asterinas. Like stated above once they eat everything thats currently being eaten, they will move on to something different. Like my zoanthids.

    being overtaken by white starfish!

They are called asterina starfish. I used to have the same problem. They just took over. They reproduce by dropping of a leg that eventually grows into a full starfish. Mine started eating my coraline algae and were always on my zoanthids, keeping them closed. They were fine in small...

    Yellow Tang coral nibbler?

There is a slight chance of Yellow Tangs nipping at some corals and clams. Our tag at the LFS I worked at had a caution color over the coral and clams. I took one home anyway and it started picking on my clam. My hippo tang also picked at my open brain. I ended up removing the Yellow Tang...

    Acropora regrowth?

I doubt it is the acro coming back. It could only come back if it wasent totally killed off in the first place. If it was just the skeleton then Im sure "something else" is growing over it.

Peppermint Shrimp ARE NOT reef safe.......

I have never had any problems with my Peps. I have always had them in all my tanks. Are you sure its a pep and not a Camel shrimp. Camel shrimp look a lot like peps and are known coral muchers. Like I stated before I never had any problems with Pep along with all my buddies that have them.

Mini HOB fuge to control micro algae?

Yes this will help with the nutrient export. Just make sure you trim the macro and take it out. If you leave it in it will get too big and there will not be enough light to feed it all. Then you will have some die-off and it will place nutrients back into the tank. This will help control...

    Green Spotted Puffer

Yes that is true. They are born into freshwater and make their way into the ocean. I know a dude that had 2 in his Reef. They didnt nip at any coral but they did go after small inverts and clams. I had one on my fowlr but got rid of him when I turned it into a Reef. Very awesome fish.

    Live rock cureing help?

Yeah mix up some new saltwater and place the water, rock, and a powerhead into a bucket or rubbermaid. Check your levels and do some water changes untill everything is zero. If you are putting it into and established tank do this. If you are putting it into a new talk put it in right away and...
