Good question on RO/DI. I have one at my house now so that's what i use. My last reef tank 4-5 years ago was a 29 gallon and i just bought a 5 gal pal from LFS for my weekly water changes and had a cheapo heater to warm it up.

I am slightly concerned it is a Aiptasia/glass anemone which sounds like could be problematic. It's red/brown-maroon and rather transparent in case that isn't clear.
