    Help! Ammonia!

    Started with the beginning process of my tank today, and accidentally added about 10 ppm of ammonia!! I don't have a siphon to do a partial water change either!!! I added a bacterial starter but I'm not sure if they are going to be able to eat it all!

    Went to my LFS today because I really want to get my equipment, and found a kit by marineland. It is 37 gallons, come with a penguin 200 bio wheel power filter, heater, hood, and daytime and nighttime lighting. Does anyone know if this kit is good? It was much cheaper than buying everything...

    My aquarium hasn't gotten started yet, but when I was about three I had a betta named nemo and a goldfish named Ariel! I guess I had a Disney theme going on.

    Today or tomorrow I will be purchasing almost everything other than fish to start cycling my freshwater aquarium. This will be my first aquarium, so is there anything I need to know before I purchase??
