Perhaps but it's odd I've never seen them do this with any of the other wood just this one really big one. They don't even do it to the other one I added the same day

I've wanted to do a fiddler tank for awhile and I finally have a tank I think I can use. It's a 10g so I'm not sure if it is or not just being hopeful. What all would I need for a fiddler tank? I know I need a land mass for them and brackish water but that's about the extent of what I know...
I've had a large branch of driftwood for many years and decided to add it to my 55g so after soaking it in a bathtub for a couple of days I added it. It was large enough that it reaches from end to end of my 55 and looks really nice but for some reason my mollies keep picking at it. There...
I added some driftwood to my 55g tank yesterday and when I checked on everything today the water was a tea color. I know what it is and what caused it as I've had it in other tanks but I want to know how can I get it to stay like that? I know it fades later after the wood sinks but I really like...
I'm trying to figure out the sex of my dragon goby and the only thing I can find is to look at the genital papillae but I'm not sure what that is or where it's located on the goby

You'd have to make sure that the water quality stays good as kuhli are finicky about that. Also remember kuhli are nocturnal and may not come out during the day at first

I'm not sure if that'd solve it entirely but it should help the case tremendously. You could add sand to fill in the cracks and add enough for a layer on top

If it's a lighter gravel I wouldn't recommend kuhli as they like to burrow in gravel and would cut themselves up on it. What about something like shrimp?

Glad to help what other fish so you have in your tank? Depending on the fish I would recommend adding a little salt to help the immune system if it's something else wrong but some fish can't handle salt so be careful if you want to go that rout. If you can't use salt I'd recommend adding some...
I would say until she starts eating regularly and swimming like normal. More than likely if she drops fry when she's in the net she'll eat them. And she may drop drop soon after you put her in due to stress. The other one you'll need to watch and when she drops try to get as many out into a qt...
I'd like to add another dragon to my 55g brackish. Right now I have 2 Rock caves and 2 wood caves and want to add some hollowed driftwood beforehand. The stock is 1 dragon 1 freshwater flounder 1 knight goby 5 bumblebee goby and 5 mollies. Filter is a fluval 306. Can one be added or will there...
If you have plants similar to hornwort it increases the chance if fry survival. Get a breeder net for the one that won't eat and put her in it. Her fry will most likely get eaten but it'll insure she gets food and survives. They're $5 at Walmart I believe and I think most lfs have them

There are no differences that I'm aware of. If you look at the fin of the gold one there may be a white tip if it's male. Not sure if that's true for all mollies but all mine are like that

I'm looking to add a school of 20 harlequin rasbora to my 25g tank. What would the best way to go about adding a school that large to the tank? Right now it's just a gourami and a betta that's going to be moved to a 10g planted. Should I do two groups of ten or four groups of five?

Check the anal fin. If it's fanned out its a female if it pointed and tucked it's more than likely a male. The pics look like they're either pregnant or balloon mollies.

They have both started swimming around like normal again. I checked both of them over and I didn't notice anything major only a couple pinholes but I think they where there before. I added some melafix and stress coat to help it heal.
